Medium-sized cholla with chartreuse flowers in spring.
Stems usually arise from one main trunk. When the sun hits this cholla, it illuminates its outline very attractively. This cactus adds great texture and unusual spring color to a landscape.
Clean and safe for the landscape - there are no spiny plant pieces on the ground, and this cholla doesn't grow out of control like many non-native cholla species found in landscapes around the valley.
